Christopher Marrison, Ph.D.
Christopher Marrison, Ph.D., is a risk management consultant with experience in trading risk, credit risk, business control, asset/liability management, emerging markets, commercial real estate, and project finance. He is the author of The Fundamentals of Risk Measurement
(McGraw Hill 2002), as well as numerous papers dealing with various risk topics. A former Managing Principal with The Capital Markets Company and senior engagement manager at Oliver Wyman & Company, he has consulted to financial institutions, multilaterals and governments in North America , Europe , Asia and Africa . Dr. Marrison founded Risk Integrated together with Dr. Jafry when they identified a need in the marketplace for sophisticated risk management tools that could be fully integrated into companies' technology and business processes, therefore enabling more efficient pricing, capital allocation, and risk management. Dr. Marrison was an engineering officer in the Royal Air Force and obtained his Ph.D. from Princeton. His thesis was on the risk assessment of aircraft control systems using simulation. Yusuf Jafry, Ph.D.
Yusuf Jafry, Ph.D., is an expert in dynamic systems, simulation and software development. With a Master's degree from MIT and a doctorate in aerospace control systems from Stanford, he has ten years of experience developing advanced mission concepts and dynamic simulations for the space sector. He has also developed the award-winning WaveWarp real-time, interactive signal processing system. Dr. Jafry co-founded Risk Integrated and now leads our software development, creating advanced applications which capture risk methodology in industrial-strength tools that speed the consulting process and can be seamlessly integrated with an institution's IT infrastructure and risk management processes.
